Is there anything Laura Lexx can’t do?!  

Natural and versatile, she combines brilliant stage presence with a cheeky charm.

TV credits include Live At The Apollo, Hypothetical, Mock the Week and Roast Battle. Following critically-acclaimed runs of her shows Trying and Knee Jerk, Laura won Best Performer in the Comedian’s Choice Awards at the 2018 and 2019 Edinburgh Fringe. She was also named in the Top 10 of Dave’s Funniest Joke of the Fringe in 2018 and Trying transferred to the Soho Theatre in London in 2019.

She won Best MC in the 2017 Comic’s Comic Awards and was nominated as Best Compere in the 2016, 2017 & 2018 Chortle Comedy Awards. She has gigged at comedy clubs and festivals all over the world as well as providing tour support for John Bishop, Jason Manford, Tim Vine and Russell Kane.

She has also written her first novel Klopp Actually: (Imaginary) Life with Football’s Most Sensible Heartthrob, and has had a comedy drama series optioned for television.

Widely celebrated for his ingenious punchlines, Julian Deane is an award-winning British stand up comedian and writer. Within a few years of starting stand up comedy, he was named Best New Comedian by the Comedy Café in London and won the ITV Stand Up Hero and the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competitions.

Julian has appeared on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One) and supported Paul Chowdhry on a world tour, which included Wembley Arena. He is also an in-demand writer, with his credits including Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Matt Forde’s Unspun (Dave) and Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia (Sky Atlantic).

Julian also hosts the Two Vegan Idiots podcast, with fellow comedian Carl Donnelly.

MC Freddy Quinne is co-host of the hit Podcast Dead Men Talking. Since launching a year ago, the dark jokes and harsh roasts have amassed more than 1 million views.  Not hard to see why he’s one of our favourite MCs.

Rob Rouse’s brilliantly daft comedy is laugh-out loud funny.  A brilliant storyteller, his observational routines are an absolute delight. TV credits include presenting the first series of The Friday Night Project on Channel 4, the C4 sketch show Spoons, and playing Mike in the first series of the BBC3 sitcom Grown Ups.

Dawn is a forty something (ahem just turned 50) Mum who views life through happy specs and giddy knickers (her own words). One to watch.  Remember where you saw her first!

We’re still putting the final touches to October’s line up but with Sol Bernstein headlining, you know you’re in for a great night!

After 25 years of semi-retirement, Sol Bernstein is back!

He’s the man who helped the careers of Elvis Presley. Marcel Marceau (never even got a “thank you”) and even the Beatles were influenced. He’s worked with, and been friends with, some of the world’s GREATEST performers; Judy Garland, The Rat Pack, Lenny Bruce, Jack Benny, George Burns, Doris Day, Tommy Cooper, Eric Morecambe and Eddie Large.

He’s performed all over the world at venues including The London Palladium, New York’s Carnegie Hall, The Paris Olympia, Caesars Palace Las Vegas, and Scunthorpe Baths, but it’s on the comedy circuit where Sol really comes to life. His charisma, his style, his catch phrase “why don’t you put on a tie” his chutzpah, put it all together and you get the magic that is Sol Bernstein.

It’s a Big Mouth first for the fabulous Gbemi Oladipo!  Well on the way to becoming a household name, his engaging and unpredictable writing style combined with his high energy performances have seen him nominated for the BBC’s New Comedian of the Year, and win the Max Turner Prize for Comedy and The Comedy Stores King Gong.

He also wrote and starred in the award-winning  F*ck My Life – Most Racist Uber Ride Ever, a story based on one of his real-life experiences. The short film produced by Pulped Productions won the prestigious Broadcast Digital Awards in 2020 for Best Short-Form Format. It was also nominated for a Webby Award for Comedy (2021) alongside videos from James Corden (winner), Trevor Noah’s the Daily Show, and The Simpsons.  And if all that isn’t enough, he also writes for Sky’s Fantasy Football League show.  Catch him while you can!

American comedian Krystal Evans was voted Best Newcomer at Edinburgh last year and has exploded into a jaw dropping sensation with 5 star reviews coming faster than she can keep up. Remember – you saw her here first!

Christmas part 2 and we’re delighted to welcome Big Mouth fave MC Dave Twentyman. Charming, laidback and downright hilarious and he’s the perfect host for tonight’s festivities.

Connor Burns is a Scottish stand-up comedian who smashed the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023, adding over 2,000 extra seats and receiving rave reviews. Named as One to Watch by Chortle in 2020, his rise has been meteoric.  With more than 1 million views of his  videos online, he has supported globally renowned acts including Daniel Sloss, Larry Dean, Tom Stade and Eshaan Akbar.  He toured Australia twice in 2022, and again in 2023 and had his Australian television debut at Just for Laughs Sydney, performed and filmed at the Syndey Opera house.

You are going to LOVE him.

Guitar toting Christian Reilly has long been a favourite act at Big Mouth. His ‘Lolalternative rock’ musical comedy is always a fantastic crowd pleaser. Sharp-eyed comedy fans will already know and love Christian for his award winning and downright hilarious work with both Rich Hall and Bill Bailey.

If you haven’t seen Simon Wozniak before, you are in for an absolute treat.   Last time he played for us, the whole room was crying with laughter.

Simon’s frenetic and opinionated style has seen him rise phenomenally through the ranks and he can now be seen performing regularly at some of the biggest and best comedy clubs in the country. Unapologetically brilliant with his honest and line crossing content, you are going to love him!

Rob Thomas is one of those yarn spinning comics who will draw you in with his shaggy dog tales, then suddenly hit you with a raft of unexpected punchlines. His funny stories always end up reducing the whole crowd to hysterics. He is also a scouser. And lovably large and larger than life!
